I bought a $700 12 valve from Marketplace and this thing is ROUGH. Lichen growing on it, algae all over the engine, and it sat outside in Michigan for who knows how long. Still, it is the cheapest 12 valve with an injection pump attached to it I have ever seen. I started digging into it to see if I scored a cheap 12 valve or just bought a giant boat anchor. Do you think this abandoned diesel engine can be saved with an ATF and acetone mix poured into the cylinders, or is it done for? #CarMechani
